Characters: Denley Onceler, Kurt Hummel
Type: log
Open or Closed: closed
Summary: Bad end TYL. Greedie's in London for a thneed promotion and catches a Broadway show. Surprise surprise, guess who he finds.
It wasn't very often that Denley got to go to London anymore. He was a businessman after all, he didn't have time for frivolities or the like. The most he got to do was go to promotional parties, which was why he was in the city in the first place. The factory was all the way back in Spalding, or what used to be Spalding anyway. All the smog and pollution left the agricultural village a shell of its former glory. Someone - he couldn't remember what their name was; it was hard keeping up with people that didn't matter - suggested he catch a Broadway show. Apparently there was some new star or something.
So he shrugged and said 'eh, why not?'.
Which was how he found himself in the top box, reserved only for the very important people of course. He lounged back in his seat, fingers steepled, one leg crossed over the other. He was half expecting to be bored, given that while he still played the guitar occasionally (read: not in months upon years), he found this type of thing to be yawn-inducing.
That was when he saw him. His old roommate from Hogwarts. It was easy to pick him out among the cast. His interest perked, Denley leaned his head on his hand and proceeded to watch the rest of the show. He hadn't seen Kurt since graduation, something that had stung and made him bury himself in his work. His fingers drummed against the armrest of the chair as he watched, intrigued, old feelings swirling around in his stomach.
He didn't like those feelings.
When the show ended, Denley stood swiftly from his seat and exited the private box, flipping his cell phone open as he fixed his tie. Perhaps it was time to catch up with old friends.
